Scripture

Luke 24:45 -47 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

Acts 2:38-39 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Titus 2:11-13 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

Daughters of Zion

Who we are . . . Daughters of Zion is made up of women worldwide, who meet on the first Monday of each month to pray focused prayer for the children of the local church community. Our Mission . . . We are committed to the spiritual preservation of this generation and beyond and the spiritual restoration of previous generations. Our Need . . . Committed women who will join together on the first Monday of each month and pray focused prayer for their children and the children of the local church and community.

Sister McAlister leads and teaches us in this dynamic prayer session. She stresses the importance of having a daily focused prayer life. I've heard her say many times, "Come on Mom's, we've got to get under a burden for our children. We've got to learn to intercede!"

Three Priorities of Prayer...The salvation of our children (Isaiah 49:25; Psalm 144:12; Isaiah 43:5-6).That they take ownership of the faith at an accountable age (I John 2:25-28; James 1:25).That they enter into the ministry of the Lord's harvest (Matthew 9:38).

Jail Ministry

Our jail ministry team is a dedicated group of men and women that bring true bible based messages to the inmates at our local county jail. The desire of each minister is to bring a message of hope to the desperate . They are driven by the need that they see in the lives of these inmates. Each life touched on the inside affects someone's life on the outside. Though the work of this ministry is both difficult and challenging, the reward is seeing countless numbers of inmates filled with the Holy Ghost and baptized in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ.

This group is lead by Bro. Thomas West.
